images/initiales/In this blog we collect all the pictures (aka screenshots) we take from the game.
We will always add new screenshots to demonstrate you some new features that we have implemented lately.

images/initiales/Back in 12.24.2008, we put the Christmas Release online. We also made some new screenshots as appetizers, as they use a lot of awesome new graphics, all drawn by moOshiE. The best part of all this is that we finally have a logo that you will see a lot on screenshots. Doesnt all this look quite awesome?

This is the awesome now splashscreen that shows when starting Arkana-FTS. It shows our new logo as well as the progressbar of moOshiE's new skin.

After the new splashscreen comes the new main menu that looks even more awesome. In the far future, we want to show the camera fly through an epic fight on the lower left corner.

Followed closely by a loadscreen, again by moOshiE. This is what you see when the game is loading a map. Along with an awesome background image you can see some informations about the map and how far is the loading of the other players.

This is yet another loadscreen that is packed into the map, showing that really everything is customizable in an Arkana-FTS map.

Finally, this shows a little part of what the terrain of a map will look like. Currently, the textures are great but the geometry is still a little crappy (spiky) but that will improve when we get a better editor.

images/initiales/One and a half year later (01.16.2008), we had a lot of features for online-gaming running already. Unfortunately, we had no server at that time thus nearly nobody could see and try out all those features. That suxed :-(

Can you see how we literally overused that cool-looking medieval font that we found? By now, we no more use it in places where the text has to be easily readable, like in the chat window.

This is the first window you can see after going online. As you can see, this looks much like a chat room and there is a lot one can already do. The font has been replaced by a more readable one by now.

There was also this window to join another channel, or create your own channel.

This was the window used to start a new game. One can choose the map, the gamename and there is plenty of place for other options.

And here you see the game-list. Red games are the ones that have already been started. Every map has an own icon shown in this list.

This shows what the options dialog looks like. You can see all the pretty GUI elements using mOoshiE^'s cool skin.

images/initiales/A few years ago (more exactly the 10.24.2006), this is what Arkana-FTS looked like. Now, everything changed, though you can still recognize the general idea of the main menu layout ;-)

This was the loadscreen at that time, drawn by mOoshiE^, quite a nice one.

The main menu, we already had an own model format, but that one was very primitive. (As you can see judging the FPS shown)

Back then, we had an automatic updater. For the current version, we no more have such a tool. Did we regress? :-)
